What’s wrong with the fleshy bumps on the nipples?

The fleshy bumps on the nipples are clinically known as supraglottic tumors, which are classified as benign and malignant tumors. Benign tumors are often soft in texture, have good mobility and clear borders with the surrounding area, and can often be cured by surgical excision. Common benign tumors in clinical practice include lipomas, fibroids, skin polyps and so on. Malignant tumors of the nipple are also more common in clinical practice. The common ones from the skin include squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma, which often appear as localized hard masses with poor mobility and infiltration to the surrounding area. Malignant tumors originating from the breast are breast cancer, which often invades the breast gland and may sometimes be accompanied by axillary lymph node metastasis. In this case, the lesion should be excised and sent for pathological examination. If the diagnosis is clear, the clinical treatment plan will be decided according to the corresponding clinical stage.
