How to see if your pelvis is tilted forward

Whether the pelvis is anteriorly tilted can be determined by pressing the back against a wall, observing the anterior superior iliac spine, and observing the abdomen and hips. 1. Back against the wall: if the gap between the back and the wall allows a hand to pass through, it is generally normal; if a very large object can pass through, consider that anterior pelvic tilt may be present. 2. Observe the anterior superior iliac spine: if anterior pelvic tilt occurs, the anterior superior iliac spine will significantly exceed the pubic symphysis and appear anterior to the pubic symphysis. 3. Observe the abdomen and buttocks: if there is anterior pelvic tilt, the abdomen will obviously protrude forward and the buttocks will protrude backward, and there will be a posterior buckling of the buttocks, which is most obvious when standing. The above methods can only initially determine whether the pelvis is tilted forward, if you need a clear diagnosis, we recommend that you go to the hospital in time, and after diagnosis, you should be treated as soon as possible.
