Amoxicillin for reflux esophagitis?

Amoxicillin is not generally used to treat reflux esophagitis. Amoxicillin belongs to the antibiotic class of drugs, mainly used for sterilization and anti-inflammatory, generally not used for the treatment of reflux esophagitis. Reflux esophagitis is mainly due to the relaxation of the esophageal sphincter, resulting in a large amount of gastric acid reflux into the esophagus, irritating the esophageal mucosa, thus causing acid reflux, heartburn and a series of symptoms. Reflux esophagitis is usually treated with acid-suppressing drugs such as omeprazole and rabeprazole, and amoxicillin alone is not effective. Patients need to consult a physician before using medication, under the guidance of the physician to use medication, not self-selected drugs for treatment.
