Left buttock bone pain may be trauma, sacroiliitis, femoral head necrosis, hip arthritis, pyriformis syndrome, fasciitis, lumbar intervertebral disc herniation and so on.
1. Trauma: left buttock trauma can cause bony pain in the area if it causes damage to the bone structure, such as bone contusion, fracture, etc., which can be diagnosed after sexual pelvic X-ray examination.
2. Sacroiliac arthritis: sacroiliac joints are also adjacent to the buttocks, so when left sacroiliac arthritis occurs, bone pain in the left buttock will also occur due to inflammatory stimulation. Sacroiliac joint X-ray can assist in the diagnosis.
3. Femoral head necrosis: radiating pain in the hip will occur when the left femoral head is necrotic, and the pain will increase gradually. Hip X-ray, MRI and other examinations can clarify the diagnosis.
4. Hip arthritis: when the left hip arthritis develops to the advanced stage, the left hip will also appear involving pain. Hip X-ray examination can clarify the diagnosis.
5. Pyriformis syndrome: when the acute pain of left-sided pyriformis syndrome is acute, it can cause left buttock pain or even feel bony pain due to intense pain, and generally there is no characteristic table of bony injury in X and CT examination.
6. Fasciitis: when left buttock fasciitis attacks, it can cause left buttock bone pain due to inflammatory reaction involving the periosteum, and the symptoms will be relieved after resting or taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as indomethacin orally.
7. Lumbar disc herniation: When the lumbar disc herniation compresses the left sciatic nerve root, the left buttock bone pain can also be manifested, and the symptom will be relieved after resting, and the imaging examination of lumbar vertebrae can make it clear.
There are many reasons for this symptom, if it is difficult to relieve, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time, after a clear diagnosis, follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
