Radiographs looking at the bone scab can observe the fracture line, bone scab proliferation. 1. Fracture line: usually four weeks after the fracture, the original bone scab will appear, while the original bone scab is not visible, the fracture line is still clear. Around four to six weeks after the fracture, the fracture line is gradually blurred, meaning that the bone scab gradually begins to grow. About two months after the fracture, the mature bone scab can be observed. 2. Scab proliferation: In the process of fracture healing, the bone scab can grow near the fracture line, and excessive bone proliferation will occur, resulting in the appearance of a mass-like protrusion on the surface of the bone, suggesting that the bone scab is generated. After the fracture is fixed, you should go to the hospital in time for follow-up and determine the next treatment plan according to the imaging results under the doctor’s guidance.
