Difference between Poria cocos and Poria cocos

The difference between Poria cocos and Poria cocos is mainly manifested in the medicinal parts, efficacy and effects, contraindications for use and so on. Part of the medicine: Poria cocos is the dried rhizome of Sarsaparilla, family Liliaceae, which is cut into thin slices, while Poria cocos is the dried kernel of Poria cocos, family Poraceae, which is the fungus of Poria cocos. Efficacy and effect: Poria cocos is mainly used to detoxify, remove dampness, facilitate joints, used for syphilis and mercury poisoning caused by limb contracture, tendon and bone pain; damp-heat gonorrhea, bring down, carbuncle and swelling and other conditions of treatment.
