Diagnosis of lumbar disc herniation

The definitive diagnosis of lumbar disc herniation needs to be based on consistent diagnosis of history, symptoms, signs, and imaging, and the diagnostic methods include: 1) Diagnosis of whether there is a history of lumbar disc herniation, history of strain injury, or history of trauma; 2) Diagnosis of whether there are symptoms of lumbar pain, numbness and pain in the lower limbs, and dysfunction of urination and defecation; 3) Diagnosis of whether there are local deformities, scoliosis, or signs of radiating pain, dysfunction, skin sensation disorders of the lower limbs, loss of muscle strength, and tendon reflexes; 4) Diagnosis through imaging, electromyography, and other ancillary tests.
