Is IVB a 4b for advanced nasal cancer?

Intermediate and advanced stage IVB of nasal cancer is usually referred to as stage 4B, or 4b for short, of nasal sinus malignant tumor.
Intermediate and advanced stage IVB of nasal cancer can be shown in enhanced CT and enhanced MRI, which can be confined to mucosa, or invade or destroy the surrounding bone and neighboring parts such as cheek skin, skull base, nasopharynx, infratemporal fossa, orbits, chewing muscles, etc.; meanwhile, it can be accompanied by cervical lymph node metastasis on ipsilateral, bilateral or contralateral side, and its maximal diameter is more than 3cm.
In early stage, nasal cancer mostly manifests symptoms such as nasal congestion, local pain and numbness, etc. With the progression of disease, symptoms such as snot blood and nose bleeding, severe headache, tearing and diplopia, difficulty in opening the mouth, exhaustion, anemia, etc. may gradually appear.
When the above symptoms appear, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible. If diagnosed as IVB in middle or late stage of nasal cancer, it is recommended to improve the examination under the guidance of professional doctors, and carry out standardized treatment after knowing the condition in detail.
