The effects of having a hysteroscopy without resting

Having a hysteroscopy without rest may have some effect on the body’s recovery. Hysteroscopy is the use of uterine media and through the fiber-optic guide cold light source into the uterine cavity, direct observation of the cervix and uterine cavity morphology, endometrial thickness of the uterus with or without abnormalities, bilateral tubal openings. Hysteroscopy can clearly visualize lesions in the uterine cavity, such as endometrial polyps, endometrial thickening, submucosal fibroids, intrauterine foreign bodies and other lesions, which can also be treated under hysteroscopy when needed. There will be vaginal bleeding after hysteroscopy, and some patients will have lower abdominal pain and other symptoms. If you can’t get effective rest, you may prolong the recovery time because of bleeding, decreased resistance to exertion, or even cause uterine infections or localized bleeding due to unrepaired endometrial wounds, which will affect the prognosis. Women routinely need to rest for 1 week after hysteroscopy or treatment due to illness, prohibit sexual intercourse for 1 month, and avoid too much activity. If there is bleeding or lower abdominal pain, go to the hospital promptly.
