If infected with the new coronavirus, the first thing to do is to carry out isolation. If it is a light case, centralized isolation management will be carried out, and if it is an ordinary, heavy or critical case, it should be admitted to a designated hospital for treatment.
Because of the highly contagious nature of neocoronaviruses, isolation is required as soon as possible after diagnosis of neocoronavirus infection. If symptoms are very mild and lung imaging is normal, the case is considered mild and only requires centralized isolation. During isolation, rest, nutrition, and water and electrolyte balance should be maintained.
If the symptoms are more severe and the lung imaging shows signs of pneumonia, the case is classified as generalized, severe, or critically ill and needs to be admitted to a sentinel hospital. At the sentinel hospital, in addition to general supportive care, oxygen therapy is given as appropriate to the condition, and medications are administered, such as Nematrevir/Ritonavir tablets, immunoglobulins, and glucocorticoids.
