How to treat dermatitis

Dermatitis is usually an inflammatory skin disease caused by multiple factors. Treatment includes general treatment, topical medication, systemic medication and other treatments.
1. General treatment: For patients with only dry skin, moisturizers or creams can be applied to improve dry skin symptoms and relieve local itching.
2. Topical medication: mainly for patients with itchy skin, it can be treated with topical medication such as glycerin lotion and hydrocortisone to achieve the purpose of anti-inflammatory and anti-itching.
3. Systemic medication: patients can take antihistamines such as loratadine and cetirizine orally to improve the itchy skin symptoms brought about by dermatitis. For patients with serious condition and extensive skin lesions, glucocorticoid drugs such as prednisone can be applied for a short period of time to improve the patient’s symptoms.
4. Other treatments: patients can be treated with ultraviolet radiation to improve the phenomenon of localized skin lesions.
It is recommended that patients with dermatitis go to the hospital in a timely manner, follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment, do not blindly use their own medication, in order to avoid adverse effects.
