What to eat to invigorate the blood

Blood circulation can be activated by choosing hawthorn in the daily diet, or by decoction of blood-activating drugs. Hawthorn is often eaten daily. It is sour and sweet in taste and belongs to the liver meridian, so it has the function of moving qi and invigorating blood, resolving stasis and dispersing nodules, and is suitable for chest pain due to qi stagnation and blood stasis, bruises and injuries, stasis pain, abdominal pain due to incomplete postpartum dew or stasis of blood in women, and is mostly more effective when consumed raw. For those who do have blood stasis causing chest tightness, breath-holding, painful meridian blockage, and women with dark menstrual periods with blood clots, it is recommended to take decoction to invigorate blood and remove blood stasis and pass through the meridians, and the drugs can be chosen from Panax ginseng, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Peach kernel, Safflower, Mitsubishi, Boswellia, Myrrh, Chuanxiong, Rhizoma cyperus, Curcuma, and Motherwort. It must be noted that pregnant women or people with bleeding tendencies should not take them.
