Gastric acid water may be a manifestation of gastroesophageal reflux disease or a manifestation of functional gastrointestinal disease. This condition can be treated with oral medications that inhibit gastric acid secretion, such as proton pump inhibitors, including omeprazole enteric coated tablets and rabeprazole enteric coated tablets. Drugs that promote gastrointestinal motility, such as mosapride citrate dispersible tablets and itopride hydrochloride dispersible tablets, can also be taken orally. If accompanied by heartburn symptoms, in addition to taking the above drugs orally it is recommended to eat less and more often, and to eat as little as possible at night.
