If the subcutaneous mass is relatively large, it can be removed, usually under local anesthesia in an outpatient clinic. Of course, before excision, routine blood and coagulation tests are required, the skin surface is disinfected with iodophor, and local anesthesia is done with lidocaine under the skin and around the mass, and after the anesthesia takes effect, the skin is cut open and the mass is removed bluntly plus sharply and completely. If the abscess is subcutaneous, it is usually accompanied by fever and requires surgery under local anesthesia. After cutting the drainage, the pus is completely released, cleaned with hydrogen peroxide, filled with petroleum jelly gauze to compress and stop the bleeding, and do a patulous drainage, covered with gauze outside, remembering to continue to go to the hospital the next day for drug changes.
