What’s wrong with children with herpes in the throat and fever at night?

Children with herpes throat fever at night may be related to herpes isthmus, hand, foot and mouth disease, herpes stomatitis and other diseases.
1. Herpetic pharyngitis: this disease is caused by coxsackie virus infection, mostly occurring in summer and fall. Fever and sore throat often appear suddenly, and the body temperature may rise suddenly at night. At the beginning, the pharynx is congested with herpes, which mainly occurs in the pharynx and soft palate.
2. Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD): It is an infectious disease in children. The main clinical manifestations of the disease are herpes or ulcers on the hands, feet and oral mucosa. Its pathogen is a variety of enteroviruses. The onset of the disease is often characterized by a persistent low-grade fever for one to three days, which may occur at night, pain in the mouth and throat, or upper respiratory tract infection.
3. Herpetic stomatitis: caused by herpes simplex virus type I infection. Mostly seen in infants and young children aged 1 to 3 years, easy to spread in public places, the onset of no obvious seasonal differences. Often occurs in the buccal mucosa, gums, tongue, lips, lip, lip red part and neighboring perioral skin. Fever up to 38 ~ 40 ℃.
