What are the three prostate items?

The definition of the prostate triad is not very uniform. In the routine examination of prostate fluid, the three items of leukocytes, red blood cells and lecithin bodies are called the prostate triple test. Leukocytes are significantly elevated and lecithin bodies are significantly reduced, which can be diagnosed as chronic prostatitis. In addition, some people also define rectal examination of the prostate, prostate-specific antigen and prostate ultrasound as the three prostate items, which is mainly for prostate tumors. If the prostate rectal palpation and mass, prostate-specific antigen is obviously elevated and prostate ultrasound suggests prostate mass, then we need to be highly alert to the possibility of prostate cancer, and need to further perform prostate aspiration biopsy to clarify the diagnosis.
