The danzhong point in the front chest on the center line, horizontal flat 4th rib gap, simple to take the point for the two nipples at the midpoint of the line.
The danzhong acupoint belongs to the Ren Chakra and is the qi meeting of the eight acupoints, which has the effects of relaxing the chest, relieving cough and asthma, lowering the rebelliousness and stopping vomiting (stopping the upward rush of stomach qi and stopping vomiting), and tranquilizing the nerves and other effects.
The danzhong point can treat lung disorders such as cough, asthma, chest tightness, shortness of breath and other conditions; it can also treat spleen and stomach disorders such as hiccups, difficulty in swallowing, nausea, vomiting; and it can also treat heart disorders such as panic, chest pain and so on.
The danzhong point can also treat women with low milk after childbirth, breast fetish (painful lumps in the breasts, closely related to menstrual cycle and emotional changes, equivalent to breast hyperplasia), and canker sores (redness, swelling and pain in the breasts, with poor discharge of milk, and ultimately septic disorders) and other conditions.
