Gallbladder stones are generally not cancerous.
Gallbladder stones are relatively common benign diseases, the chance of cancer is low, only a small number of patients because of gallbladder stones caused by inflammation, prolonged stimulation of the gallbladder may be cancerous, but clinically they are relatively rare, and generally will not be cancerous.
If there are repeated attacks of inflammation or gallbladder stones without symptoms, but the diameter of the stones is too large and the number of stones is too large, in order to reduce the chance of malignant transformation, it is recommended to have laparoscopic cholecystectomy or traditional surgical treatment in time; in other cases, it is enough to do regular checkups according to the doctor’s instructions, so there is no need to worry too much.
