How to treat scalp tumors

The choice of treatment for scalp tumors must be specific to the patient. In the case of sebaceous cysts or lipomas, surgical removal is the most common procedure. However, in some cases, lipomas or cranial osteomas may be malignant and need to be diagnosed based on postoperative pathology. If the diagnosis is confirmed to be malignant, further radiotherapy and chemotherapy will be required. During the surgery, if the pathology is confirmed to be malignant, it is necessary to enlarge the incision to reduce the residual tumor more effectively, so it is relatively troublesome. If it is malignant degree, the surgery is more complicated and costly, and there is a possibility that the prognosis is also poor.
