Early symptoms of abdominal aortic aneurysm include compression symptoms, pain, pulsatile mass and embolic manifestations.
1. Compression symptoms. Early abdominal aortic aneurysm will compress the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, ureters, bile ducts and other organs, and produce corresponding symptoms. For example, when the gastrointestinal tract is compressed, there will be epigastric distension and discomfort, and the amount of food will be reduced; when the kidney is compressed, there will be the symptom of urinary obstruction, and the amount of urine will be reduced; when the bile duct is compressed, there will be jaundice.
2. Pain. Abdominal aortic aneurysm may cause pain in the abdomen or the lower back, which is often manifested as swelling or cutting pain.
3. Pulse swelling. The patient may feel an abnormal, fluctuating sensation around the navel or in the fossa of the heart, which is consistent with the beating of the heart. A throbbing round mass can be felt during the examination.
4. Embolization. The thrombus or plaque in the cavity of abdominal aortic aneurysm may be dislodged, which may cause lower limb artery embolism, resulting in limb ischemia and pain, or even necrosis.
Abdominal aortic aneurysm in the late stage is often dangerous and easy to rupture, it is recommended to consult the doctor as soon as possible, understand the condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
