What’s this fire in my chest?

The feeling of a fire in the chest is mainly seen in bile reflux gastritis or reflux esophagitis, the root cause of which is the obstruction of gastric emptying due to various reasons, or even cause bile reflux into the esophagus, resulting in clinical symptoms. It usually manifests as a feeling of fire in the chest, or clinically known as burning pain, and usually requires further gastroscopy to make a clear diagnosis. If it is functional reflux esophagitis, or bile reflux gastritis caused by spasmodic pyloric obstruction, it is usually treated with medication to control acid, protect the gastric mucosa, and promote gastric emptying, and can be relieved. If it is organic, such as scarring pyloric obstruction, surgery is usually required.
