Posterior pituitary hormone contains oxytocin and pressor hormone. Its contained oxytocin, in small doses, can cause rhythmic contractions of the uterus. Pressor can cause a decrease in urine output, vasoconstriction and an increase in blood pressure. In case of intravenous drip, it can be adjusted from 0.1 U/min to 0.4 U/min. Intravenous injection: 5-10/dose, repeated every 6-8 hours. Intramuscular injection: 5U/dose, 2-3 times/day. If used for the treatment of enuresis, the usage is 5-20 U/dose, intramuscularly, for 48-96 hours.
