What happens when cephalosporin and white wine are used together

Cephalosporin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that can produce a disulfiram-like reaction, or a toxic reaction, if ingested together with white wine into the body at the same time. It can cause flushing of the face, conjunctival congestion, and even blurred vision, violent fluctuation of blood vessels, and even headache, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, chest tightness, chest pain, and even instability of vital signs, leading to a state of shock, causing acute heart failure, liver failure, and even convulsions and death. Generally, early clinical treatment is needed to prevent death, keep vital signs stable, and if necessary, go for gastric lavage as well as life saving.
