Moderate inflammation of the cervix is not cervical erosion because inflammation is caused by local damage to the cervical mucosa leading to the invasion of pathogenic bacteria, causing local inflammatory changes in the cervix, such as local congestion, edema or cervical manifestation of nuchal cysts, cervical hypertrophy, and cervical polyps, called cervical inflammation or moderate inflammation of the cervix. Cervical erosion is clinically a normal physiological phenomenon, mainly due to the strong secretion of estrogen in the body, resulting in the outward migration of the cervical columnar epithelium, causing a phenomenon similar to erosion on the surface of the cervix, which is a normal physiological phenomenon and does not need to be treated, as long as it is reviewed regularly. However, for moderate inflammation of the cervix, anti-inflammatory treatment should be actively given.
