Nasopharyngeal cancer stage III belongs to the middle stage. Nasopharyngeal cancer is a malignant tumor of epithelial origin that occurs in the nasopharynx, and the main symptoms are bloody nasal discharge, tinnitus, hearing loss and nasal congestion. Nasopharyngeal cancer stage III means that the tumor invades the skull base bone, cervical vertebrae, pterygoid structure and/or paranasal sinuses, bilateral neck lymph nodes show metastasis, the maximum diameter of the tumor is ≤6cm, and no distant metastasis occurs, and it belongs to the middle stage. Patients with stage III nasopharyngeal cancer are often treated with radiotherapy + chemotherapy, and commonly used chemical drugs include docetaxel and cisplatin. The use of chemotherapy along with radiotherapy can improve the local control rate and reduce the occurrence of distant metastasis. Therefore, patients suffering from nasopharyngeal cancer should go to the hospital in time for early detection and early treatment so as not to delay their condition.
