Exhausting gas all the time in a period of time may be related to the food eaten, the speed and habit of eating, and the existence of dysbiosis in the organism. In normal people, the number of exhausts is less than 20 times a day. After eating more gas-producing foods, such as dairy products, beans and sweet potatoes, the number of exhausts will increase significantly. Eating too fast or talking frequently while eating can lead to swallowing too much air through the mouth into the stomach, and when the gas accumulates to a certain degree, there will be more exhaust. If there is a dysbiosis in the organism, such as acute gastroenteritis, harmful bacteria in the colon will overgrow into the small intestine and ferment the food eaten, thus producing a large amount of gas, and the patient will experience increased exhaust.
