How to Rehabilitate Knee Pain

Rehabilitation exercises for knee pain include strength exercise, joint mobility training and aerobic exercise.
1. Strength exercise: Straight leg raising, squatting against the wall and resistance training can be used to exercise the quadriceps, biceps femoris, tibialis anterior and calf triceps muscles in order to enhance the power and strength of the above muscle groups, improve the stability of the knee joint, and protect the function of the knee joint and the structures of the knee joint, such as meniscus, ligamentum interosseum, articular cartilage, and so on.
2. Joint mobility training: daily knee flexion and extension activities can be performed to enhance the angle of joint mobility and avoid joint stiffness.
3. Aerobic exercise: Jogging, swimming and other aerobic exercises that are less damaging to the knee joint can be performed to further strengthen the muscles around the knee joint, maintain the stability of the knee joint and reduce knee pain.
Rehabilitation exercise is a gradual process, patients should avoid strenuous exercise, so as not to aggravate the knee injury. Consult your doctor if you have any discomfort during the exercise process.
