The survival time of early-stage moderately differentiated liver cancer patients cannot be generalized, and it is closely related to pathological staging, treatment method and patients’ own physical condition, and some researches say that the 5-year survival rate can reach 70-80%, and the specific time varies from person to person. In China, it is usually considered that early stage liver cancer includes single tumor ≤5cm, or single tumor diameter >5cm or 2-3 tumors all with diameter ≤3cm, and there is no cancer embolism or extra-hepatic metastasis, and this kind of patients belongs to early stage patients. Early detection of hepatocellular carcinoma and treatment by timely surgical resection of hepatocellular carcinoma and postoperative adjuvant treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy according to the situation are meaningful for prolonging patients’ life and improving their quality of life. If liver cancer belongs to early stage, the cure rate after surgical resection is high, and some studies say that the 5-year survival rate can reach 70-80%. Although there is a certain risk of recurrence after resection of early stage liver cancer, it can still be cured by surgical resection, ablation or liver transplantation, so surgery is the first choice for early stage liver cancer. Patients should go to the hospital for timely consultation and examination if they usually have any discomfort.
