Are solid nodules in the lungs serious?

Solid lung nodules need to be excluded from the possibility of malignant tumors in the lungs in a timely manner, and those suspected of malignancy are in more serious condition, while those in benign condition are in relatively mild condition.
Lung nodules are a common clinical imaging pathology sign, there are benign lung nodules and malignant lung nodules. Benign lung nodules are often characterized by cystic pathologic hyperplasia, with no obvious clinical symptoms, and are relatively mild, so there is no need to be overly nervous, and regular checkups are sufficient.
Solid lung nodules can also be divided into benign and malignant. Solid lung nodules appear in isolation, and most of them are benign granulomatous hyperplasia, which will not lead to malignant changes, and their condition is relatively mild; whereas the volume of some solid lung nodules will change in a short period of time, and their volume will be irregular, or there will be adhesion to the surrounding tissues, and obvious symptoms such as coughing and sputum will appear, and the condition of the lungs will be relatively serious at this time.
When solid lung nodules are detected, they should be treated promptly at a specialized thoracic surgery clinic.
