Monkeypox virus testing methods can be generally categorized into two types: laboratory tests and physical examinations. Monkeypox virus belongs to poxvirus, there are two types, which are highly infectious. 1. Physical examination: patients can be seen to appear in many parts of the lymph node swelling symptoms, skin rash, including papules, small blisters or pustules, and fever, some patients can reach 39 ℃ or more. At the same time, the patient was asked about the contact history with infected animals or monkeypox patients. 2. Laboratory examination: take part of the skin around the blisters of the patient as a sample, carry out the isolation and culture of the virus, if the monkeypox virus can be isolated, i.e., monkeypox virus is positive, then it can be judged to be infected with monkeypox virus. Monkeypox virus also needs to be differentiated from other diseases with similar symptoms such as chickenpox and measles. If similar symptoms are present and there is an epidemiologic history of the disease, it is recommended that the patient be isolated and treated as early as possible to avoid delaying the disease.
