Cancer patients who need albumin infusion may have hypoproteinemia. The infusion of albumin will improve the patient’s symptoms, such as edema as well as malnutrition, but it will not accelerate the progression of the cancer disease because of the infusion of albumin. Cancer is a highly consumptive disease, and many patients have anemia and hypoproteinemia, which require albumin infusion as well as oral protein supplementation and increased nutrition. Cancer cells cannot be starved to death, and there is no such thing as keeping cancer cells under control without giving the patient albumin infusions or nutrient infusions, so that normal cells may starve to death. Cancer is a systemic disease, need to strengthen nutrition, improve body resistance, help prolong survival anti-tumor treatment.
