It is used clinically for the treatment of sore throat caused by external wind-heat, for acute pharyngitis, acute attack of chronic pharyngitis, and for dry and itchy throat, cough and sputum caused by tonsillitis. For cough and coughing phlegm caused by wind-cold colds, this drug should not be used. In the process of taking this drug, it is prohibited for diabetic patients because of the sugar content in it.
