From the current study, the safety of endoscopic treatment of Barrett’s esophagus is better, and there are some differences between different endoscopic treatments. 1. Argon ion coagulation therapy (APC) is a new type of non-contact electrocoagulation technique, which is considered to be one of the safer, more effective and less damaging endoscopic interventions for the treatment of Barrett’s esophagus. Studies have shown that APC is effective in the near term, but the long-term efficacy needs to be further evaluated. 2. Endoscopic laser ablation for Barrett’s esophagus is a safe and effective treatment, especially for short-segment Barrett’s esophagus, but the effect of the treatment on Barrett’s esophagus carcinoma is still unclear, and there is not much understanding of the rare and serious complications that may be caused by laser ablation, which requires further research to standardize its use. 3. Endoscopic mucosal resection is a safe endoscopic technique for the diagnosis and treatment of flat lesions in the digestive tract, which can correct biopsy errors and realize a more accurate diagnosis. Due to the differences in medical equipment and technology, the long-term efficacy of endoscopic treatment and the risk of recurrence are still controversial, and further research is needed to determine its safety.
