There is no such thing as Dong’s three acupuncture points for lowering sugar. Generally, the acupuncture points used to assist in lowering sugar in clinical practice are Neiguan point, Pension point, Laogong point, and so on. 1. Neiguan point: belongs to the pericardium meridian of the syncopal yin of the hand; it is one of the eight meridian meeting points, which is connected to the yinwei meridian of the hand. It is located on the palm side of the forearm, 2 inches above the transverse line of the wrist, between the tendon of the palmaris longus and the tendon of the flexor carpi radialis. Mainly treats heart pain, palpitations, stomach pain, vomiting and so on. 2. Pension Point: Belongs to the Small Intestine Meridian of the Sun of the Hand. Hand Sun Qie point. It is located on the extended side of the forearm, 1 inch behind the wrist, when the palm is facing the chest, in the bone gap above the radial edge of the ulnar tuberosity. It is used for the treatment of visual uncertainty, pain in the shoulder, back, elbow and biceps. 3. Laogong Point: belongs to the Pericardium Meridian of the Convulsive Yin of the Hand. Xing (fire) point. It is located between the second and third metacarpal bones in the transverse line of the palm. When flexing the fingers and making a fist, the point is under the tip of the middle finger.
