How to take care of your baby during teething

The teething period of a baby generally refers to the period of time when a baby’s teeth begin to erupt at about 6 months of age, and when the milk teeth finish erupting at about 2.5 years of age, during which time oral care is targeted. Generally, during the period when teeth are just beginning to erupt, a soft gauze dipped in warm water should be used to clean the newly erupted teeth and the surrounding gums, so that the teeth and gums can be cleaned. At the beginning of teething, the patient will be obviously irritable, so you can apply a teething stick to distract the child’s attention and calm him/her down. Before the child is 1 year old, it is recommended to use gauze for cleaning. After the child is 1 year old, with more and more teeth, you can consider brushing with a toothbrush, and instead of toothpaste, simply dip the toothbrush in warm water to clean the child’s erupted milk teeth.
