What’s wrong with chest pain when you bend your body?

Chest pain on body flexion may be due to physiologic or pathologic factors, such as chest wall disease, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, and mediastinal disease.
1. Physiological factors
Chest pain when bending may be caused by factors such as working under high intensity and pressure for a long period of time, or disorganized rhythm of life and high mental stress.
2. Pathologic factors
(1) Chest wall diseases: such as acute dermatitis, herpes zoster, epidemic chest pain, intercostal neuritis, rib fracture, acute leukemia, multiple myeloma and other diseases.
(2) Cardiovascular diseases: such as angina pectoris, myocarditis, acute myocardial infarction, acute pericarditis, mitral or aortic valvular lesions.
(3) Respiratory diseases: such as pleurisy, pneumothorax, pneumonia, pleural tumor, acute tracheobronchitis, lung cancer, etc.
(4) Mediastinal diseases: such as mediastinitis, mediastinal tumor, mediastinal abscess, esophageal hiatal hernia, esophagitis, esophageal cancer and so on.
After excluding physiological factors, chest pain when bending the body should go to the hospital in time to find out the cause of the disease and treat the cause.
