A benign prostate puncture biopsy with all 13 needles does not completely exclude prostate cancer.
For patients with PSA2.5~10ng/ml, the positive detection rate of routine prostatectomy biopsy is 47.05%, and the 2nd time can be detected in 5.6%. Therefore, for the first time prostate puncture biopsy is benign, prostate cancer can not be completely excluded. Repeat puncture is sometimes necessary to improve the overall detection rate of the puncture.
Usually, repeat prostatectomy is considered when the first prostatectomy biopsy is benign, but anal examination, review of PSA or other derivatives suggests that prostate cancer is suspected, and the recommended interval between two biopsies is more than 3 months.
If prostate-related diseases are detected, it is recommended to consult a regular hospital and under the guidance of a professional doctor to carry out appropriate examinations and active treatment.
