Effects of Xiangtan Injection

Xiangdan Injection has the effect of dilating blood vessels and enhancing coronary blood flow. It is mainly used for coronary heart disease and angina pectoris, and also for myocardial infarction. The ingredients of Xiangdan Injection are mainly Salvia miltiorrhiza and Radix et Rhizoma Pinelliae. In terms of dosage, intramuscular injection is usually 2ml once, 1-2 times a day; intravenous injection is usually 10-20ml once, diluted with 250-500ml of 5%-10% glucose solution and then slowly injected intravenously. During the course of administration, adverse reactions may occur, the more common of which is the possibility of causing gastrointestinal symptoms, loss of appetite, heartburn, acid reflux, nausea, vomiting. In addition, allergic-like reactions may occur, such as redness and itching of the skin, and changes similar to hives may occur. Then there is the possibility of causing dizziness, headache, chest tightness, and cough. It is prohibited to use if you are allergic to the drug and is prohibited for pregnant women as well as nursing mothers.
