I. Muscle strength 1. Toe activity: start flexion and extension exercises of the affected toe on the first day after surgery. 2.Knee joint activity: start immediately after surgery. Contract the anterior thigh muscles with force for 5 seconds and then relax for 2 seconds, a total of 500 times per day. 3.Straight leg raising exercise: finish within 3 days after surgery. The knee joint should be completely straight and lifted off the bed, total 30 times per day, each time until exhaustion. 4.Reclining position “bicycle”: Starting from the 1st day after surgery, the patient should be in supine position, with both lower limbs elevated to perform stepping exercises in the air. 5.Start ankle joint strength training 13 weeks after surgery. Joint activity angle 1. Avoid ankle joint activity for 4 weeks after surgery. 2. After 4 weeks, review the ankle joint in the outpatient clinic and take the initiative to move under the guidance of the surgeon. Weight-bearing 1. Wear a weight-bearing brace for the tibia for 8 weeks after surgery, and strictly avoid weight-bearing on the heel. 2.Weight-bearing starts after 8 weeks, starting from 1/4 of the body weight, and about 1/2 of the weight-bearing in the 10th week. 3.Free movement and full weight-bearing under the guidance of the surgeon starts in 13 weeks after surgery. Walking The first day after surgery, the affected limb can be put on the ground without weight (i.e., the toe can be on the ground) to meet simple daily life.
