If there are hard bumps on the right side of the neck, consider sebaceous cysts, lipomas or fibroids, which require general surgery. If the bite is caused by insect bites, you can see a dermatologist who will give you medication. If the bite is caused by an allergy, you can see a dermatologist or allergist, who will perform the appropriate tests to identify the allergen. If thyroid disease or esophageal disease is considered, further CT is needed to determine which department to go to, either head and neck surgery or general surgery. If it is considered to be caused by swollen lymph nodes, you can see a hematologist or a rheumatologist or a general surgeon. If the patient is seen outside of normal working hours or on a holiday, he or she can first be seen in the emergency department, where the doctor will complete the relevant tests and recommend a more appropriate department for treatment.
