Treatment of keloids: 1. Initial lesions can be treated with isotope dressing and superficial radiotherapy; 2. External application of mepiquat if tension is high; 3. Intra-lesion injection of BOTOX is recommended for red active lesions (once a month, 10-20U each time); 4. Local seal (tretinoin, Depo-Provera, 5-FU) is recommended for old lesions; 5. External application of imiquimod, silicone oil (Schoenstatt, Scarke); 6. Surgical excision + post-operative Superficial radiotherapy; 7. Treatment of triggering factors, such as folliculitis (Listerine).
Precautions for keloid scars: 1. avoid local stimulation (scratching, rubbing); 2. avoid skin stretching (e.g. long fat, chest expansion exercise); 3. avoid spicy diet, tobacco and alcohol stimulation; 4. avoid staying up late; 5. avoid trauma and surgery.
