Enhanced echogenicity of both kidneys at the time of the major screening, will it go away at a later review?

Slightly enhanced echogenicity of both kidneys at the time of MRI may disappear at a later stage of review if there is no other organic pathology. In general, fetal bilateral renal echo enhancement may be a normal physiological phenomenon, perhaps the fetus holds urine, resulting in the presence of urine in the fetal kidneys, and rarely for hydronephrosis, renal dysplasia and other malformations. Regular review of fetal ultrasound should be noted to monitor the fetus for organic developmental abnormalities, and amniocentesis can be performed for fetal karyotype analysis. In addition, the persistent enhancement of echoes may be a normal variant. If there is no other organic developmental abnormality in the fetus, the echogenic enhancement may disappear at the later review. It is recommended that women during pregnancy should take obstetrical examination on time, consult a doctor in time when abnormalities are detected, and pay attention to regular checkups to exclude fetal developmental abnormalities.
