ShuiQuan generally refers to the ShuiQuan point, which is located in the heel area of the foot, 1 inch straight down from TaiXi, in the medial depression of the heel bone nodule, and has the effect of promoting water retention and eliminating swelling, as well as promoting blood circulation and regulating menstruation. ShuiQuan is an acupoint on the Kidney Meridian of the Foot ShaoYin, which has the effect of inducing diuresis, eliminating edema and regulating menstruation by activating blood circulation. It can be used to treat visual blurredness, menstrual disorders, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, yin ting (prolapse of the uterus or even out of the vaginal opening), dysuria (unsmooth urination), abdominal pain, heel pain, and other conditions.
