Is moxibustion good for hepatitis B?

Moxibustion can improve one’s immunity, and the improvement of human immune function is helpful in fighting against hepatitis B virus. For patients with hepatitis B infection, if hepatitis attack occurs, they need to undergo regular antiviral treatment, and antiviral treatment is usually recommended for entecavir and tenofovir, which can effectively inhibit the replication of hepatitis B virus and delay the development of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis. For hepatitis B carriers who do not have abnormal liver function or hepatitis attacks, antiviral treatment is not required, as long as liver function is followed up regularly every six months. Moxibustion can improve one’s immunity and has an immune enhancing effect on hepatitis B patients, but it cannot remove the hepatitis B virus from the blood.
