Hepatitis B triple positive refers to three positive results among the five tests for hepatitis B. There are three forms of positive results: first, positive surface antigen, positive e antigen and positive core antibody, which represent the major triple positive, indicating that the hepatitis B virus is heavily replicated in the body. The second type, positive hepatitis B surface antigen, positive hepatitis B e antibody and positive hepatitis B core antibody, represents a gradual decrease in the amount of hepatitis B virus replication or no replication, and is less infectious. The third type, positive hepatitis B surface antibody, positive hepatitis B e antibody and positive hepatitis B core antibody, it represents twofold significance, one is the recovery period of acute hepatitis B, and the other is having been infected with the hepatitis B virus and effectively cleared the hepatitis B virus and produced protective antibodies.
