Does pulpitis heal on its own?

Pulpitis is less likely to heal on its own; inflammation of the pulp is irreversible if it occurs. The pulp is located in the pulp chamber and once inflammation occurs, it is very difficult to subside, and if it does, it is temporary. When pulpitis is treated, the pulp is removed to control the inflammation, and the pulp itself cannot heal itself. Pulpitis should be treated in a timely manner. Nowadays, there are dry and wet methods, plastination methods and root canal treatment methods to treat pulpitis, among which the dry and wet methods and plastination methods, require more treatment, therefore, the more used pulpitis treatment method is root canal treatment. The main process of root canal treatment is: first of all, the first visit should be anesthetized, the pulp cavity should be opened, drugs should be placed on the pulp, these drugs are to inactivate the pulp, and after a week the pulp cavity as well as the necrotic nerve and other materials in the root canal are cleaned, flushed and anti-inflammatory. Finally, after removing the pulp of the point and the necrotic material, the pulp cavity becomes empty and the pulp cavity is filled with dental cement, which is the whole process of root canal treatment. This treatment is the method of eradicating pulpitis and is the most used in clinical practice. Pulpitis cannot be cured and should be treated promptly if you have pulpitis to prevent tooth necrosis. To ensure the function of the tooth, the root canal treatment method is the better choice.
