The pelvic cavity is relatively congested during defecation, and if there is an injury to the vulvar skin or perianal skin itself, bleeding from the pubic area can occur in the presence of increased abdominal pressure. If a woman happens to be in her menstrual period, the possibility of menstrual blood should be considered as a normal physiological phenomenon. If she is in a non-menstrual period and bleeding from the vagina occurs, it is possible that the bleeding is due to cervicitis, cervical erosion or the possibility of bleeding due to pre-eclampsia. If the bleeding is from the anus after a bowel movement, consider the possibility of bleeding due to hemorrhoids.
