Dialysis patients with severe renal function damage, renal excretory function is impaired, there will be low urine output. Dialysis patients with impaired renal excretory function, renal endocrine dysfunction, water, electrolyte and acid-base balance disorders, there will be oliguria, anuria, edema and so on. Dialysis is one of the main treatments for acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. After treatment of acute kidney injury, most patients’ renal function will gradually return to normal and urine output will be restored. While patients with chronic kidney disease on maintenance dialysis have irreversible damage to their kidney function and their urine output may gradually decrease with dialysis. Dialysis patients with low urine output are advised to communicate with the doctors of their dialysis centers and adjust their dialysis regimen under the doctors’ guidance.
