How to treat cervical spine degeneration

Cervical degeneration in patients mainly refers to the aging and hyperplasia of the bones in the cervical spine, which makes patients suffer from cervical spondylosis. During the treatment, the movement of the neck should be restricted, and braces and collars can be used to give fixation and reduce the external stimulation of the cervical spine area, which can relieve the local nerve root edema and can reduce the clinical manifestations of the patient. Other treatments can be used in the neck, such as hot towel compresses, acupuncture, moxibustion, orthopedic fumigation, or massage with tui-na techniques. Oral medication can also be considered, such as bone spur flattening tablets, anti-osteophyte pills, B vitamins, micronutrients, and methylcobalamin tablets.
