How to regulate excessive sweating in the head

If the head sweat is physiological, there is no need for special treatment, if it is pathologic, according to the results of different TCM diagnosis should be used to adjust the corresponding prescription.
For example, Danggui Liuhuang Tang is used for Yin deficiency and fire exuberance, Baihu Plus Ginseng Tang is used for Yangming meridian heat, Longguan Diarrhea and Liver Tang is used for liver and gallbladder dampness and heat, and Gui Zhi Plus Longbiao and Oyster Tang is used for Ying-wei disharmony (which is a TCM disease mechanism that is often manifested as superficial self-sweating).
If you sweat a lot when you eat or sleep without any other symptoms, it is a physiological phenomenon rather than a disease and does not require any special treatment, so you can just keep a regular routine and eat a light diet.
Head sweating can also be pathologic, clinical common Chinese medicine to identify the type as well as adjusting the prescription is as follows:
1. Head sweating caused by Yin deficiency and internal heat, and the exudation of sweat due to heat, should be used to nourish Yin, clearing heat and convergence of sweat.
2. Yangming meridian traveling in the forehead and face, Yangming meridian heat, forcing sweat to leak out of the head caused by sweating, should be used Baihu plus ginseng soup to clear the heat of Yangming.
3. Head sweating caused by damp-heat vaporization, upward reversal of the liver meridian on the head and face, forcing sweat to be excreted, gentian and liver detoxification soup should be used to clear heat and liver, remove dampness and stop sweating.
4. Head sweating caused by Ying-wei disharmony and couper’s not solid (often refers to the skin’s inability to consolidate sweat, abnormal sweating on the surface of the body), Gui Zhi plus Long Bone and Oyster Soup should be used to regulate the Ying-wei (to make the body’s internal and external qi smooth, each in its own way).
There are many other reasons for excessive sweating as well as ways to regulate it, and when the body is not feeling well, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to receive regular treatment so as not to jeopardize your health.
